In the case of Scream and her host Andi Benton, magical fire isn't much of a concern. Knull himself has even proven vulnerable to magic, so it only makes sense that magical fire would be even more of a threat. Symbiotes don't have many weaknesses, and Knull has even fewer, but fire has always been an effective weapon against their kind. For all the powers that Knull and the symbiotes have at their disposal, they are still susceptible to certain forces. Knull's connection to Hybrid alerts him to Scream's presence, and the god of the symbiotes speaks to her directly, telling her it is time to come home to the rest of the Hive. The others are well aware that their sister is not going to be an easy fight, especially considering her last host murdered all of theirs in cold blood, so they merge together to form the most horrifying version of the Hybrid symbiote so far. Scream stops her Life Foundation brethren from harming a young boy, grasping Lasher by the throat and tossing him aside with ease. Luckily, the black sheep of the family is there to interrupt her siblings' fun, and she can do things that no other symbiote has ever been capable of doing. Among the ghoulish army's ranks are the four Life Foundation symbiotes who had once comprised the merged entity known as Hybrid. While Knull lords over the landscape, his symbiotes stalk the streets, hunting for Eddie Brock's son Dylan. One of the rare beings that Knull fears is also in possession of a power that he covets. Though some heroes remain, few if any are capable of standing against the dark god of the symbiotes on their own, and some of those that can have vanished at the worst possible time. The Earth has been shrouded in Knull's black, viscous grasp, the skies blacked out and the world beneath them twisted into a nightmarish reflection of its former image. One of those lights, though, is burning from within the living darkness itself, and she might just be the most powerful symbiote of them all. With Knull's darkness firmly grasped around the world, there are few lights shining through. Still, Venom and Eddie Brock have proven that they may be impossible to kill, and Carnage throughout his many forms has always been a thorn in the side of literally everyone else. With their origins lying in Knull, the nearly omnipotent symbiote god, it's understandable that he would exhibit powers far beyond any of his creations. Symbiotes, since their introduction to the Marvel universe, have long been considered one of the most powerful species that the universe has to offer.
